About Ordering MILO™
You can order MILO™ by clicking the Sign Up top menu on any page. You can pay for it with a credit card or your PayPal account.
When you purchase MILO™, you select a subscription renewal period – either every three month, or annually. Before the end of your subscription period, you will receive an email notification of the renewal period. You can follow the instructions to renew or cancel your subscription, or let the subscription be renewed automatically.
MILO™ comes with a 30-day money back guarantee. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied, contact support@satlogix.com to arrange for a product return. Please make sure to keep MILO™ and the package it came in. Once we receive MILO™ and confirm it has been used properly, we will credit your account within 21 days.
Are there any limits on the number of trips I can log?
No. There are no limits on the number of trips or the amount of data stored.
How can I cancel the subscription?
A paid subscription cannot be canceled after the 30-day trial period. You can simply decline to renew the subscription for the next period.
Can I still view my trips after I cancel the service?
Yes. You can view your trips for one year after the cancellation of your subscription. But, you cannot add, modify or delete trips. Remember, you can export all your trips and reports to Excel.
About using MILO™
How does it know my Business from Personal trips?
You can configure MILO™ with your regular work schedule (ex. – Monday-Friday 6:00AM-6:00PM). When MILO™ tracks your trips, it automatically starts in Business or Personal mode based on your configured work schedule. You always have the option to change from the default mode while you drive by pressing the Business or Personal buttons.
If I press the button in the middles of a trip, does it split the trip into two trips?
No. Milo™ allows you to change your mind during a trip and press the button. The whole trip is assigned the Business or Personal mode at the time you stop and turn off your engine.
When using MILO™, is my privacy protected?
Your MILO™ Web Center account is protected by your account ID and secure password. Furthermore, your Internet connection is encrypted over the internet.
Note that you can also delete any Personal trips if you do not want to keep them online.
If you are part of a Group and report your trips to a manager, the manager sees your Business trips and NOT your Personal trips.
How can I separate my commute trip from business trips?
You can configure MILO™ Web Center to automatically identify trips between your Home and Office and mark them as Commute. Optionally, you can automatically designate all Commute trips as Personal.
Do I need to charge MILO™ or check that is it charged?
No. MILO™ is always plugged in to your vehicle’s power adapter. This avoids any confusion or the need to check if the unit is charged. It also helps identify exactly when you turn on and off your vehicle.
How can I change a trip from Business to Personal or visa versa?
During your trip, you can change the mode of the trip at any time – the Trip Mode is the last mode when you stopped the vehicle. When you login to MILO™ Web Center and load your MILO™ log, you can identify the trip date and modify that specific Trip Mode, as business or personal or commute, etc.
How does MILO™ determine the purpose of my trips?
One of the key benefits of using MILO™ is that it goes a long way towards eliminating the need to manually set the business purpose of every trip. With MILO™ intelligent software, you can name frequent stops such as customer and supplier locations. Each time you stop at those locations, the business purpose is assigned the appropriate name.
Furthermore, MILO™ links to Outlook, and compares each trip to your Contacts List and Meeting Calendar to identify the meetings you had and/or contacts you met – all without any manual data entry!
Do I need to press buttons when I start or stop driving?
No. You set your weekly work hours once and MILO™ automatically separates Business and Personal trips when you drive. For example, you can set MILO™ to start in Business trip mode on Monday through Friday from 6:00AM to 6:00PM. You would only need to press the Personal button when you take a personal trip during business hours, or press the Business button if you make business trip after hours.
How can I print my mileage log?
MILO™ collects data each time you drive. When you want to upload and view your trips, go to www.satlogix.com and click on “User Login.” Once you login to your account, you can connect MILO™ to a USB port, click on “Load” and select the GPS_DATA.BIN file on your MILO™ drive. All your trips will then be uploaded and displayed.
At any time, you can click “Export” to export the trips to Excel, or “Print” to print your trips.
No. Once the data is uploaded to MILO™ Web Center it is kept for seven years.

What does the blue flashing light mean?
When you start your vehicle, ensure that MILO™ is plugged in to a 12V power adapter. The blue light will flash and turn solid. MILO™ is tracking when the light is solid blue. If the light stays flashing for more than two minutes, find another location in your vehicle with better access to windows. You may use an extension adapter if you want to place MILO™ on your Dashboard.

How can I use the same 12V port to charge my phone or use other devices?
Use a dual 12V split adapter. They are available at any electronic and automotive store.
What if I forget my login password?
On the login page, click “I forgot My Password”. Your account password will be reset temporarily and the new password will be emailed to you. Upon login, you will be asked to set a new password.
About MILO™ for Enterprise use
Can my boss see my personal trips?
No. MILO™ Enterprise is designed to streamline business mileage reporting to your company. However, to protect your privacy, MILO™ only reports your business travel.
Is this a “big brother” tool that allows my boss to see where I am at any time?
No. MILO™ tracks your trips and stores the data on the MILO™ device. When you are ready, you can upload the data to MILO™ Web Center. You can delete and modify trips to ensure your company only has access your business trips. This is not a tool to track employees in real time.
